Vietnam will reduce its tariffs to zero if it manages to conclude an agreement with the United States. This was stated on the Truth Social network by US President Donald Trump.
"I just had a very productive conversation with Toh Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, who informed me that Vietnam wants to reduce its tariffs to zero if they manage to conclude an agreement with the United States. I thanked him on behalf of our country and said that I was looking forward to meeting him in the near future," writes Trump, quoted by BLoomberg.
