The recommendation was given by the head of one of the police associations, commenting on the latest criminal statistics. He suggested just avoiding men.

According to the police, there is a high level of violence against women in Germany. The number of serious sexual crimes increased by 8.5%, including rape and especially serious forms of sexual violence, the head of the association noted.
