Singer Alla Pugacheva at the Laima Rendezvous Jurmala festival explained to journalists why she sometimes appears in public with a cane. The video appeared on the paparazzi_news YouTube channel.

Going out to the place of communication with the press, Pugacheva crouched down, quite reliably portraying her grandmother. She admitted that the cane is not just an image.

"The fact is that I was immobilized for four months. Well, what's there to hide, I fell, and I had… In short, I broke my leg, hip joint, and, frankly, I didn't think I'd get up at all," the singer said.

Pugacheva added that she had panic attacks, she felt terrible, the doctors warned that she could lie down for six months. But then "one person" came and said that "everything depends on you, if you overcome the pain, you will overcome everything."

"And I'm still overcoming it, and I think that another three or four months and I'll go," the singer hopes.

The diva emphasized that she endured it all very hard, but then pulled herself together and began to walk.

"First with a wand, then without a wand. I take it only when I need to be sure," the singer explained.

As reported by EADaily, the festival, which is held annually by Soviet and Latvian singer Laima Vaikule in Jurmala, Pugacheva and her husband, comedian and TV presenter Maxim Galkin[1] attend regularly. However, the singer appears only as a spectator of concerts. A lot of foreign agents, as well as Ukrainian and Western artists, are usually invited to the festival. This year Pugacheva visited all three days of the festival.
