Concluding the last plenary session of the State Duma of the VIII convocation, the chairman of the lower house of the country's parliament addressed the Russians, chanting "Russia! Putin! Victory!".
"The enemy is being defeated all along the front line. We are advancing. That is why the bloody neo-Nazi regime in Kiev is committing all conceivable and unthinkable crimes against the civilian population, civilian infrastructure. He does everything to create tension in our society. To sow panic. We must resist this. We must fight for the country. We are talking about the future of our state, our citizens. We need to show political restraint, be united to ensure the achievement of the goals of the special military operation. There are many parties, the Motherland is one! Russia! Putin! Victory!" — Volodin chanted five times to the stormy applause of the audience.
As the parliamentarian noted, "the political system and economic model created by our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin show their effectiveness, cope with all challenges and demonstrate sustainability."
"Over the past time, 250 anti-sanctions laws have been adopted. Thanks to this, we managed to strengthen the economy, save jobs, and support business," he said.
The parliamentarian also pointed out that the deputies, "using their capabilities, are doing everything to improve the lives of citizens."
According to him, "in order to provide legislative support for a special military operation, 183 laws have been adopted."
"This made it possible to form a system that we are adjusting based on the challenges of the time," he stressed.
Volodin added that SMO provision, assistance to soldiers and officers, their families is one of the key priorities in deputy work.
