The Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, had a telephone conversation, noting the constructive nature of the relations between the two countries. This was reported by the Kremlin's press service.
"Having discussed topical issues on the bilateral and international agenda, the leaders noted the constructive nature of Russian-Azerbaijani relations and the intensification of dialogue between governments and relevant departments," the Kremlin said.
They stressed that Putin and Aliyev "confirmed the mutual intention to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation" of the states.
