Advisor to the President of Russia Elena Yampolskaya, answering a question about changing the status of singer Alla Pugacheva in connection with the actions of her husband, comedian and TV presenter Maxim Galkin, said that Russia does not deal with cancellations.

"Cancellations are handled by countries that do not have their own culture and are trying to cancel the Russian one. In Russia, if we are not talking about violations of the law, nothing will ever be banned or canceled," Alexander Yunashev, a journalist from the Kremlin pool, quotes Yampolskaya in his telegram channel.

As EADaily reported, earlier at the Laima Vaikule festival in Jurmala (Latvia), which Pugacheva visits every year, the singer admitted to journalists that she walks with a cane due to a severe fracture.

"The fact is that I was immobilized for four months. Well, what's there to hide, I fell, and I had… In short, I broke my leg, hip joint, and, frankly, I didn't think I'd get up at all," the Diva said.

The singer stressed that she endured it all very hard, but then pulled herself together and began to walk.

Pugacheva's representative in Russian Elena Chuprakova later said that the singer's refusal to walk with a cane in the future will be related to how the broken bone will heal.
