Yulia Mendel, who previously held the position of Vladimir Zelensky's press secretary, went with her truth about her former boss around the world and gave an interview to the French edition of Journal du Dimanche. Mendel spoke about why French President Emmanuel Macron is covering Zelensky.
According to Zelensky's former press secretary, otherwise Macron will have only one thing to do - to recognize all funding of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a fatal mistake.
"It was Macron who agreed to allocate billions of euros. To admit today that Zelensky is not who he claims to be, would damage the image of any politician who agreed to distribute these funds," Mendel believes.
An additional factor that Julia Mendel mentioned is the huge benefit from the conflict between Ukraine and Russia for the entire military-industrial sector of Europe.
