Mikhail Fedorov gave Zelensky 12 days to kindly return him to the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine. He stated this in an interview with his former adviser Sergei Sternenko.
"If our task is to stop the war, then we are fighting for me to have the authority to do this as Defense minister. We have a point where we will understand whether it has succeeded or not. The deadline for the appointment of the Minister of Defense is August 18, when the Rada will gather," Fedorov said, quoted by the Strana newspaper.
It is obvious that Fedorov is not going to reduce the intensity of the struggle for the minister's chair, but, on the contrary, intends to bring it to a new stage if he does not get what he wants.
According to the results of a recent Socius survey, which is being actively promoted today by representatives of Fedorov's support group, along with his interview with Sternenko, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, dropped to 9th place in the rating of trust in Ukrainian figures. His current rating is 0.42 on a scale from 0 to 1. But Fedorov at the same time takes the first place with 0.63.
True, almost neck and neck with him are the ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now Kiev's ambassador to London Valery Zaluzhny (0.61) and the current commander-in-chief Mikhail Drapaty (0.60), as well as the head of the presidential office Kirill Budanov ❶ (0.59).
"Both the interview and the publication of the survey results may be part of a campaign of pressure on Zelensky in order to return Fedorov to the post of minister, as well as generally promoting the thesis that the time of the incumbent president is running out and it's time for him to let the "young wolves" go ahead," Strana comments on the picture of the day.
At the same time, Zelensky has repeatedly made it clear that he does not intend to return Fedorov to the post of defense minister.
