Starting from September 1, 2026, public transport tickets will receive standardized registration. They will also have to contain a specific list of information.

This was told to RIA Novosti by a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation (Ministry of Transport) Kira Doroseva.

"From September 1, 2026 in Changes to the order of the Ministry of Transport are coming into force in Russia, which standardize transport tickets and related documents," the expert said.

She emphasized that this is not about beautiful design, but about legal transparency and protection of passengers' rights.

It follows from the explanations that each ticket will have to contain its own unique details, information about the conditions of travel and the cost of education, as well as rules for the carriage of hand luggage and luggage.

The Ministry of Transport expects that the innovations will reduce the number of "gray" tickets, and also allow the passenger to prove the fact of fare payment and, if necessary, to make claims.

Earlier, EADaily reported that the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation is taking all necessary measures to ensure cargo logistics in the face of growing threats to shipping in the waters of the Sea of Azov.
