The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has published a list of targets that were hit last night during a group retaliatory strike on military facilities and port infrastructure on the territory of Ukraine.
The relevant information was published on Saturday morning, August 8, by the press service of the military department on its official resources.
"Tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with high-precision ground—based weapons on a military industry enterprise and a fuel and lubricants warehouse in the city of Kiev," the report says.
It is reported that in the Ukrainian capital were also struck:
- industrial enterprise Kiev-111 (LLC "Fire Point"), which produces components and warheads for ground-launched cruise missiles FP-5 "Flamingo". The facility also stores components for the manufacture of solid-fuel accelerators;
- The Kiev-3 fuel and lubricants warehouse (Grandterminal LLC), which provides supplies of petroleum products for the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Novograd-Volynsky linear production and dispatch station. Fuel trucks are refueled daily at the facility, which are sent to the east of the country to provide groups of Ukrainian troops.
The military department informed that in addition, two dry cargo ships delivering weapons and military equipment to the ports of Ukraine were hit by unmanned aerial vehicles at the sea crossing south and east of Odessa.
Earlier, EADaily reported that cautious optimism on Ukraine disappeared after Russian strikes on logistics. This was stated by an ardent supporter of Kiev, German military analyst Julian Repke.
