In the backyard of the former Crimean deputy, 64-year-old Valentin Baida, law enforcement officers found the body of a 12-year-old schoolgirl who had previously been seen riding in the village of Chaikino, Dzhankoy district. Details of the version of the ex-official and director of the local house of culture about the circumstances of the child's death are provided by the Telegram channel MASH.
The suspect claims that the girl herself drove up to him on a bicycle and asked to buy her a can of liquefied gas. Baida responded positively to the child's request. Then the schoolgirl sniffed out of a spray can in Valentine's house and lost consciousness.
Baida did not call an ambulance, but tried to resuscitate the girl himself. When this could not be done, he, again, did not call the rescue service or the police, but, frightened, took the body to the backyard, dumped it in a hole and buried it.
Local law enforcement officers opened a criminal case, the suspect was detained.
