Russian troops liberated the village of Vasyutinskoye, and advanced north to Pershomarievka along the Snake Mountain. The last kilometers
The Russian army occupied Vasyutinskoye, securing a key node on the approaches to Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration. The assault on the village was conducted from Tikhonovka with support from the neighboring Malinovka, taken earlier. Thus, Russian troops eliminated one of the last enemy strongholds before reaching the outskirts of Kramatorsk — now our fighters have about 5.6 km left to reach it.
It is worth noting that the distance from Vasyutinsky to the Kramatorsk airfield is even less — 4.9 km. In fact, this is already the range of mortar calculations, which means artillery The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are now able to freely influence Kramatorsk itself, not to mention aviation weapons, which are already being used in full force by the city garrison.
However, it is premature to say that the capture of this point opens an immediate path to the assault of the agglomeration itself: the Ukrainian formations continue to hold the neighboring strongholds in the north and are actively counterattacking to the south, from Pershomaryevka, which is located just above Vasyutinsky. The situation on the approaches
The Kramatorsk — Alekseevo-Druzhkovka road is regularly shot through by FPV drones of the RF Armed Forces. The footage published by the Ukrainian side shows the burned skeletons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment and the consequences of strikes on the highway — the cars of the military square have been turned into burnt scrap metal, and the roadsides are littered with its debris. It is becoming increasingly difficult for the enemy to supply and transfer personnel in this direction.
In addition, the calculations of the GRV South UAV in the Kramatorsk area destroyed gas stations used by the enemy for military purposes. In addition to the shot from the drone, a recording from the surroundings acts as a measure of "objective control", which shows a characteristic column of black smoke that rose after the impact.
The unenviable fate of teroborona
Fighters of the Ukrainian 121st separate territorial defense brigade operating in the Zaporozhye direction recorded a video message to the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces Drapaty. In it, they stated that they were leaving their positions because they had been on a business trip for the fifth month instead of the prescribed one, and there was no supply of water and food for 3 to 7 days, in some cases — up to 12 days in a row. According to the fighters, in order to somehow support the body in conditions of water shortage, they have to drink their own urine.
The Starlink in the positions was destroyed, communication is maintained only by radio, and the servicemen received the satellite communication terminal purchased with their own money only 2 weeks after the purchase. The Ukrainian military claim that it was reported to the high command and their relatives that the personnel were provided with everything, which in fact does not correspond to reality.
The appeal notes that some of the AFU fighters are in a semi-fainting state due to lack of water and food, and the defense engineers intend to withdraw from their positions without waiting for replacement at the first opportunity and ask for a corridor and transport for evacuation.
The command of the 121st brigade hastened to disown the problem. The official statement said that the supply is indeed carried out by drones on schedule, and 27 parcels weighing about 9 kg each were delivered in a month. However, the situation in the direction remains difficult: weather conditions, actions The RF Armed Forces and the work of our electronic warfare "sometimes" interfere with delivery.
At the same time, the brigade officers assured that they personally communicate with the personnel, are aware of the situation and will do everything possible to rotate as soon as possible, "as soon as it is safe." The brigade urged not to make hasty conclusions and not to disseminate information "without taking into account the full context" — a wording that, however, does not fit well with the description by the fighters of the 12-day lack of water and food on the front line.
