Parts of the report, compiled on the basis of data from the Pentagon, the State Department and the Agency for International Development, appeared online. The document says about the serious shortage of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the lack of interceptor missiles in Kiev. Details are provided by TASS.

The report appeared on the Internet on August 13, it was prepared by the inspectors General of the Pentagon, the State Department and the de facto liquidated Agency and covers the period from April 1 to June 30, 2026. The recipient of the document and data on the current state of the Ukrainian army is called the US Congress by the media.

American intelligence especially noted "the limitations of personnel and military equipment continued to constrain Kiev's ability to conduct military operations." Plus, "Ukraine was still dependent on the supply of Western weapons, which were unstable due to the presence of donor countries with other priorities besides Ukraine."

The inspector of the Pentagon Intelligence Agency also confirmed that "Ukraine was experiencing a shortage of interceptor missiles to counter ballistic missiles and was still dependent on foreign support in the field of air and missile defense." That is why the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed to "stop the advance of Russian troops on the ground."

EADaily previously also informed that the Ministry of Defense reported on the number of Ukrainian naval vessels destroyed in a week.
