Former Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said that soon Ukrainians will have only 30 seconds to hide from a ballistic missile strike. He stated this in an interview on Olesya Batsman's YouTube channel.
According to him, exactly half a minute will pass between the announcement of the air alert and the strike of a ballistic missile.
"If at the last moment at two in the morning there is a notification that there will be a ballistic strike, there will be an alarm — and in thirty seconds there will be a flight, there is no point in running somewhere," Kuleba added, quoted by Strana.
The ex-minister is waiting for instructions from the country's authorities on this matter.
"I myself am waiting for one of the officials to come out and provide such comprehensive recommendations. He will say conditionally: "Dear citizens... if you read at seven o'clock in the evening... that we see signs of preparation of a ballistic strike, then we recommend that you go to the shelter by eight in the evening," Kuleba said, noting that you should not expect a quick change in the situation for the better.
As reported, former adviser to Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin called the refusal to publish data on Russian ballistics a pure crime. He stated this on his YouTube channel.
"This is a criminal order. Because in Kropyvnytskyi, in my opinion, there was no missile alert. I don't know if it was reported in Krivoy Rog or not… This is already a pure crime… But there were missiles, missiles hit, and, thank God, not many dead… This is a reality, and the missiles could not be shot down," the expert said.
