As in most regions of the country, the situation with gasoline has worsened in recent weeks. In the Krasnodar Territory, about 10% of gas stations do not work. The situation is complicated by the holiday season, as there are no fewer motorists.
"The situation has become more complicated over the past two weeks, 120 gas stations are not working in the Kuban," the Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reports, citing information from the Ministry of Fuel and Energy and Housing of the region.
They noted that more than 920 gas stations remain in operation.
"According to the decision of the working group, volunteers and Cossacks continue to be on duty at gas stations to help drivers and maintain order, there is a restriction on fuel supply per car. The sale of cans and other containers has been suspended. Residents and guests of the region are asked not to buy fuel for future use,"the headquarters said.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Energy of Russia is engaged in changing logistics supply chains and the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, said that due to increased demand during the holiday season, oil and gas companies have again begun to impose restrictions on the volume of fuel supply and reduce the opening hours of gas stations.
"The most difficult situation is on the Azov-Black Sea coast. The number of holidaymakers who come to the resorts of the region by private cars has not decreased, but even increased — up to 50 thousand cars per day. This causes concern for residents and guests of the region," Veniamin Kondratiev wrote in the telegram channel.
According to him, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak instructed relevant departments and oil companies to take additional measures to provide fuel to regions where there is currently a tense situation.
As EADaily reported, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to attack Russian oil refining and petrochemicals. In response, the government is taking measures to saturate the market. Experts say that the balance can be maintained, but the situation is on the verge of deficit every time.
