Apparently, a campaign has begun in Ukraine to force Zelensky to the elections. This is reported by the publication "Country".
"On the eve of voting for (Yevgeny) Khmara's candidacy for the post of Minister of Defense, submitted to the According to the president, the support group of ex-Defense Minister (Mikhail) Fedorov (primarily grant circles, media and politicians close to them) launched a campaign to disrupt the approval of the new minister. In particular, the appeal was recorded today by Fedorov himself. In it, he actually demanded the holding of elections during the war. He also spoke about the "crisis of public administration", the need to renew the government and "restore the democratic process." It is characteristic that with approximately the same theses, the Mirror of the Week, a publication close to grant circles, published a program article yesterday," the publication says.
The publication believes that we are talking about the beginning of a coordinated campaign by Fedorov and his support group to force the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to hold elections, "in which, apparently, grant circles expect Fedorov to win."
It is noted that at the same time, the failure of voting in the Rada is for Khmar, "which she is now making great efforts to do." In his video message, Fedorov took a separate tour of the parliament.
"The management of the parliament should be based on the majority program, values and principles, and not on its own private interests in the defense industry, pharma, gambling business. Because the parliament is the heart of Ukrainian democracy, not its wallet," the former defense minister stressed.
According to the publication, even if Khmar is appointed Minister of Defense, the call to hold elections even during the war may give new slogans and ideas to the "cardboard Maidan" to continue protests, after his previous appeals lose relevance.
As reported by EADaily, ex-Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov demanded to hold elections in Ukraine. He stated this in a video message.
Ukraine should find a mechanism to restore elections even in war conditions, the ex-minister said. At the same time, he used Russia in the "best" Western traditions.
