Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko addressed the family and friends of the American actress and mother of his daughter Hayden Panettiere. The corresponding post appeared on his page on the social network.

He said his family is going through "deep shock and grief."

"The news of Hayden's tragic death has deeply saddened me. She left this world too soon. Hayden, although she stopped being my partner, was an important part of my life and the mother of our daughter Kaya," Klitschko wrote.

He recalled that Hayden Panettiere built her career thanks to her great talent, but at the same time she had to face the "dark sides" of the film industry. Klitschko stressed that nothing will erase from memory the time spent with Hayden, and he will always tell his daughter about his mother with respect and make sure that Kaya remembers what kind of person her mother was.

"I extend my deepest condolences to Hayden's parents, her friends and fans who are also grieving today. Young and talented people like Hayden should not have left this world so early," he is sure.

Klitschko asked to show respect for the feelings and privacy of the family.

"At the moment, that's all I want to say," Klitschko concluded.

As reported by EADaily, on the eve it became known that Hayden Panettiere, known for the TV series "Heroes", died at the age of 37. The actress died less than a week before her 37th birthday.

In 2013, the actress was engaged to boxer Wladimir Klitschko, the brother of the current mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko, in December 2014, the couple had a daughter, Kaya Evdokia. In 2018, it became known that Klitschko and Panettiere broke up, while the actress transferred her daughter to the full custody of her father amid a struggle with depression and drug addiction.
