For the first time, North Korea has transferred heavier Hwasong-11C (KN-30) ballistic missiles to Russia. This is reported by the Strana newspaper with reference to the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to the GUR, by July, the Russia had about 50 North Korean missiles of three types — KN-23, KN-24 and KN-30. Also in About 90 DPRK military personnel arrived in the Voronezh Region, who can service up to six launchers for these missiles.
Pyongyang claims that the KN-30 is capable of carrying a warhead weighing 2.5 tons, but analysts consider this estimate to be overestimated, the Ukrainian edition writes.
