Gold reserves in Russia's have fallen to a six-year low. This is reported by Bloomberg.
"The Bank of Russia continues to sell gold from its reserves, having reduced its assets at the end of July to the lowest level in more than six years. According to data published on Thursday by the Central Bank, Russian bullion stocks have decreased by 1.6 million ounces since the beginning of the year and amounted to 73.2 million ounces as of August 1. This is the lowest figure since January 2020," the note says.
It is noted that in seven months the value of the Central Bank's gold reserves decreased by $ 33.7 billion.
