Trump accused Zelensky of deceiving him about Starlink, assuring him that Musk had agreed to use the system to strike deep into Russia. The head of the Kiev regime told reporters about this.

According to the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, before the meeting with US President Donald Trump, he received information from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine that SpaceX, headed by Elon Musk, had allegedly already "given the go-ahead" to use Starlink and it only needed to be agreed at the political level.

Musk said that he was in favor of ending the war, and not for its continuation, Kiev agrees with this, but "appropriate tools" are needed for this, Zelensky noted.

"At the second meeting, Trump said, "I confirmed to you that SpaceX and Musk refused Ukraine, and you told me so." But I had completely different information from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. This, by the way, is part of the reasons for some of the steps," Zelensky added, quoted by "Время.иа ".

By "part of the reasons for some steps," he probably meant the dismissal of Mikhail Fedorov from the post of head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As EADaily reported, although US President Donald Trump had previously denied Kiev the use of Starlink for strikes deep into Russian territory, the Ukrainian authorities are asking for it again, the British Financial Times reported on August 21.
