"CIA Director Ratcliffe will discuss in Moscow the mutual cessation of strikes on the energy infrastructure and ports of Ukraine and Russia, a possible ceasefire in Sumy and Kharkiv regions as steps towards a broader de—escalation and prospects for the end of the war," says Mendel.
She noted that the escalation policy pursued by Kiev was initially a failure. "Now the whole world will feel it because of rising prices and rising global hunger. Ukraine paid for it with blood," Mendel added.
