In the Trans-Baikal Territory, a local resident was detained for calling for violence against officials and journalists supporting SMO. This was announced today, August 26, by the regional FSB.

The 46-year-old man published in messengers calls for violent actions against government officials, public figures, journalists and citizens who support the policy of Russia. He posted them in anti-Russian channels.

A criminal case was opened against the detainee under articles on public justification of terrorism (Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and public calls for extremist activity (Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the sane articles, a man may face up to 7 years in prison.
