The frequent attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on civilian infrastructure are aimed at raising tension in society in order to force peaceful Russians to take to the streets with protests and put pressure on the authorities, political analyst Eduard Basurin is sure.
He noted that modern man is used to comfort: without leaving home he can get all the benefits of the world, and when this does not happen, there is a protest.
"We have been taught that everyone's comfort is higher than the comfort of the country or society, and they continue to work in this paradigm. We need to work with this internally. Not to convince people, but people should realize that a unit is no bigger than a whole," Basurin said on Sputnik radio.
The political scientist recalled that the Ukrainian Armed Forces disrupted the beach season this year and tried to sow the idea among Russians that the state could not protect them. After the warehouses of marketplaces and gas stations, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can start hitting agricultural processing enterprises, he believes.
"The main thing here is what our answer will be? <> Here the principle should be like in a fight, in an ordinary, street: whoever hit first will win. That's how we start hitting harder, then victory will immediately come to us. And not only representatives of the CIA will come to Moscow, but also other representatives of the political establishment to negotiate," he concluded.
