Armenia is rotting. This statement was made by the former Minister of Defense of the republic Arshak Karapetyan, reports "Russia Now".
"The European Union does not need Armenia, and we will never be there. Most likely, we will see the collapse of the European Union, rather than our entry there. We started thinking about the adoption of same-sex marriage laws. When I was an adviser, I listened to this 10 times. A proposal from the ruling party. We, Armenians, are the Caucasian people. People who fought to preserve the Armenian people. Today we are trying to become gay, I'm sorry, to change our faith, our Christian way of life to some kind of sect. We find drugs in schools today. That's what we've become. Kids are already addicts. And all why? Ghostly freedom. That we are being deceived. It is necessary to get drunk, to prick. And, I'm sorry, in one place to fuck. Who will we be? Our system is rotten. We are rotting," Karapetyan said.
Karapetyan's criticism was voiced against the background of a real shift in Armenia's foreign policy. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has officially announced his intention to start the application process for membership in the European Union.
This course causes controversy in the Armenian society and among political opponents, including the former Minister of Defense.
