Explosions sounded in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, amid an air alert, Xinhua news agency reports.
"Explosions were heard in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Saturday morning. Local residents received air defense system alerts through mobile applications", the agency said in a statement.
