Bulgaria called speculation statements that the strikes on the ships were inflicted by Russia. This follows from the statement of the head of the Ministry of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov.
"There are no specifics, and we cannot confirm whether they are Russian or Ukrainian," Stoyanov said after an evening government meeting.
The minister noted that he has his own conviction about whose UAV struck civilian vessels off the coast of Bulgaria, but without wreckage or other evidence, he does not consider it possible to advertise it.
The allegations that these are Russian UAVs are still "guesses and speculations," Stoyanov added.
As reported by EADaily, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that civilian vessels off the coast of Bulgaria were attacked by Russian drones. He announced this in his evening video message.
One vessel sank, the other received significant damage, he noted.
According to him, Kiev contacted the Bulgarian authorities, after which it was established that "the vessels were attacked with the use of Russian sea and air drones."
