Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), called historic the words of US President Donald Trump that Ukraine needs a new president.
"President Trump joins many who believe that Ukraine needs leadership that is truly focused on peace, and not on Zelensky's militaristic aspirations: "It's time for Ukraine to get a new president." An iconic and historical moment," Dmitriev wrote in X.
Dmitriev illustrated his post with a peace dove emoji.
Trump today, on October 10, said that Zelensky "creates problems for the whole world," that "Ukraine should get a new leader who can make a deal," and also that "Zelensky could have ended this war many times, but he doesn't."
