Against the background of preparations for the hardest winter, contradictions are growing between the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and the recently appointed Prime Minister, Sergei Koretsky, the Strana newspaper reports.
The publication refers to several sources in political circles at once.
"Koretsky came to the government as a person of the president's inner circle — Yermak, Mindich and co. They tried it on the Ukrnafta squeezed out of Kolomoisky, then put it on Naftogaz. In these positions, Koretsky has shown himself to be a very executive manager, ready to follow any instructions. Therefore, Zelensky and his inner circle decided that it was possible to put him at the head of the government. However, Koretsky seemed to have been replaced in the cabinet. He ignores some of the instructions and wishes of Zelensky and his inner circle. Plus, he's flirting with the grant environment, which is now together with NABU/SAP is waging an information and political war against Zelensky. He communicates through Bankova's head with the Europeans. Intrigues with them, complaining about the willfulness of the president," the publication says.
It is also noted that Koretsky "is greedy for fame and PR, and for Bankova doesn't like that."
"In addition, he simply lacks the competence to pull the government's machine. Does not cope with some tasks. Some ministers are dissatisfied with him. They "drip" on him to Zelensky," the newspaper notes.
All together, this creates an increasing tension in the relations between the president and the prime Minister, concludes Strana.
"There are widespread expectations that Zelensky will organize Koretsky's resignation in the spring, "putting" responsibility on him for the problems the country will face in the winter," says the source of the publication.
