US President Donald Trump does not want the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to resign after Friday's skirmish at the White House. This was stated today in an interview with CNN by Secretary of Commerce Howard Latnik.
When asked by a CNN correspondent if Trump wants Zelensky to resign, Latnik quickly replied: "No."
"No, he does not interfere in Ukrainian politics. He wants to be a peacemaker," the minister stressed.
As for further possible steps and the suspension of assistance to Ukraine, Latnik said that "he (Trump. — EADaily) will consider exactly what to do and how to respond."
"(Trump) is going to find out what tools he can use in relation to Russia and what tools he can use in relation to Ukraine in order to bring them to the negotiating table," the minister said.
