Talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of ASEAN events in Manila ended.

On the Russian side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko, Director of the Department of Foreign Policy Planning Alexei Drobinin and Permanent Representative of the President of the Russian Federation to ASEAN Yevgeny Zagainov.
The American side was attended by Deputy US Secretary of State for Political Affairs Alison Hooker and Special Envoy of the US President Sergio Gore.
