In Romania, they decided to express their dissatisfaction with Russia

The Romanian Foreign Ministry summoned Russian Ambassador Vladimir Lipaev after three drones were destroyed over the country's territory in less than 48 hours. This was announced by the head of the department Oana Tsoyu.

"In connection with these repeated violations, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania," she said.

The basis for the diplomatic protest will be the results of investigations into the facts of downed drones. The Romanian Prosecutor General's Office, based on the results of the examination, attributed the UAV shot down on July 24 to the type of drones that Bucharest claims Russia uses. The proceedings on the other two episodes are continuing, the wreckage of these UAVs had not been found by the time of the statements.

Recall, the first drone in Romania was shot down on the morning of July 24 near the village of Padina in Judec Buzau. It was the first such case for the country. The second was destroyed on the morning of July 25 near the border with Ukraine, the third on Sunday at 10:13, 12 km northeast of Sulina, over territorial waters, follows from the releases of the Romanian Ministry of Defense. In all three cases, the targets were hit by F-16 fighters. At the same time, President Nicusor Dan thanked the Romanian military for their actions and entrusted Blame Russia for the drone invasion.
