The air defense crisis is covering Eastern Europe, said American scholar Malek Dudakov. According to him, the shortage of American anti-missiles for Patriot systems has caused a rise in protectionist sentiments around the world among US allies. "Almost simultaneously with each other, Spain, Greece, Japan and South Korea began to refuse to provide Kiev with PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles. Each country has its own reasons — someone is afraid of escalation at their borders, others have simply lost faith in the capabilities of the American military-industrial complex. The production of anti-missiles for Patriot remains at an extremely low level. It takes as much as 31 months to produce one PAC-3 model. The Pentagon has allocated $60 billion to Lockheed Martin to increase production from the current 600 missiles per year to about 2,000. However, it is unlikely that this will be achieved in the near future — the deadlines are shifting to the right for the 2030s," the expert writes in the telegram channel.

Meanwhile, Ukraine, as part of the PURL program for European purchases of American weapons, receives only 10-20 anti-missiles for Patriot per month. Although he manages to launch several hundred of these same missiles every month. And such a trickle is starting to dry up, Dudakov notes.

"The Pentagon itself will need at least five to seven years to restore its reserves following the results of the war in Iran. And even then it's not a fact that it will work. After all, new conflicts in which America's arsenals will be unwound cannot be ruled out. In the meantime, protect all your spheres of influence — whether in Europe, Asia or the Middle East — the US military machine is becoming increasingly difficult," the expert concluded.
