The Russian Authors' Society (RAO) wants to recover from the folk music and song theater "Golden Ring" of the singer, People's Artist of Russia Nadezhda Kadysheva a penalty of 100 thousand rubles due to non-fulfillment of obligations under the license agreement. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the organization.
"The reason for the appeal to the court was the improper performance of the Golden Ring National Folk Music and Song Theater LLC obligations under the license agreement concluded with the Russian Copyright Society on 12/30/2005," the RAO press service said.
In accordance with the terms of the agreement, the organizer was obliged, no later than 10 calendar days after the end of each quarter, to provide RAO with information on the amounts of the gross fee from ticket sales, as well as information on the works actually performed and their authors.
"However, the organizer did not fulfill this obligation for the fourth quarter of 2023 for the events — the concert of Kai Metov and the concert of Nadezhda Kadysheva "Snow flies". According to the terms of the agreement, a penalty of 100 rubles is provided for violation of this obligation for each day of delay, "the press service added.
Against the background of violation of the terms of the agreement, a lawsuit was filed to recover 100 thousand rubles, as well as 10 thousand rubles of state duty.
As EADaily reported, earlier in the file of arbitration cases there was an entry about a new lawsuit against the Kadysheva Theater, filed on July 31.
At the same time, in November last year, the Moscow Arbitration Court, at the request of RAO, recovered 40 thousand rubles from the Golden Ring National Folk Music and Song Theater LLC. It was specified that compensation should be paid for the performance of Viktor Pelenyagre's Kadyshev song "Russia-Rus", Ksenia Pelenyagre will receive monetary compensation.
