Soviet and Latvian singer Laima Vaikule showed her true nature with a statement about her readiness to fight against Russia with weapons. He stated this to the portal News.ru producer Pavel Rudchenko.

"Laima Vaikule showed the very bottom, that is, her true attitude to the public that made her popular. In the West, she never became a star of the first magnitude, and she has all her achievements, awards and financial opportunities only thanks to Russia and listeners from our country. Accordingly, now she is ready to take up arms and go against her fans," he stated.

Rudchenko is sure that she not only promotes the narratives familiar in the West, this is her sincere position.

"It is clear that she is working out the Western agenda, but at the same time I think she sincerely thinks so. This is not just working out an order from the EU authorities. She makes good money on it," the producer is sure.

As reported by EADaily, earlier in an interview with Russian actor Arthur Smolyaninov in almost pure Russian, Vaikule said that she would take up the machine gun in the event of military interaction between Latvia and Russia.

"I'll take a machine gun," the singer said, answering a question about a possible invasion of Russia.

The singer is also sure that "if Russian bombs began to fall on Latvia," she would not speak Russian.
