The Belarusian became the winner of the beauty contest "Mrs. Universe — 2024". This was announced today, October 10, by the organizers of the event.
The international competition was held from October 2 to October 10 in the city of Incheon (South Korea). The final was attended by women from the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, the USA and the post-Soviet space. The winner of the contest was the Belarusian Natalia Doroshko. Nikita Kushva, a representative of North Asia, became the first vice-mrs., and Natalia Chistyakova, a Russian, took the third place.
Before the contest, the Belarusian wrote in social networks that she wanted to tell "about our country, the generous people," as well as "glorify Belarus," "break stereotypes and broaden horizons." After the victory, she said that she had gained an "amazing experience", as well as more faith in "her deeds, thoughts and goals."
The international beauty contest "Mrs. Universe" has been held since 2007. Married, divorced or widowed women between the ages of 18 and 55 can participate in it. The peculiarity of the contest is that it is not just a beauty show for married girls, but also a social project, the participants of which highlight some important issue. In 2015, the competition was held in Minsk. The winner then was the representative of Canada Ashley Burnham.
