The chief of the Israeli General Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, said after the strikes on Iran that the army was calling up tens of thousands of soldiers and was preparing at all borders.
"We are calling tens of thousands of soldiers and are preparing at all borders," the chief of the General Staff said in a statement posted on the telegram channel.
Earlier, the Israeli army announced that it had struck dozens of targets in Iran that are related to the nuclear program and military facilities. The official representative of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Ebrahim Rezai, said that Iran would not leave Israel's attack unanswered.
The Ynet portal reported that Israel is preparing for powerful strikes also from Yemen, Lebanon and Syria.
