Russia may soon lose 130 small towns. The Izvestia newspaper informs about this today, August 5.
This will happen due to negative demographic trends and against the background of a decrease in employment of the urban population.
Experts point to the greatest risk for cities in the territories of the Bryansk, Novgorod, Kirov regions and Krasnoyarsk Territory. And EADaily reminds that the category of small settlements in Russia includes those with a population of less than 50 thousand people.
