The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, during a direct line commented on the issue of monopolization of business in the region. The question came to his address from social networks.
"Yandex and Lenta don't work for us because they promoted and sold alcoholic beverages. Yandex taxi drivers could even buy and deliver alcohol to customers. Well, the location of Lenta, plus everything else, completely interfered with the construction of a new government building," the Head of Chechnya said.
Kadyrov noted that he "talked to the owners and explained the situation."
Now we are building a similar hypermarket opposite the government building. It will contain the same products, except alcohol," Kadyrov assured.
Recall that in Chechnya, since 2020, there has been a law banning the retail sale of alcoholic beverages.
