In Belgorod, after yesterday's APU strikes, emergency services are not yet able to fully restore heating, so they will have to drain the water from the heating system in 455 houses, kindergartens, schools, universities and polyclinics. This was announced today, February 8, by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov, publishing a list of addresses.
So far, according to Gladkov, the city thermal power plant cannot resume heat supply.
"The actions that our power engineers and thermal power engineers have been taking for the last two days have not yet led to the long-awaited result. We have restored gas supply, it remains for us to connect 500 consumers for electricity supply in homes, we have solved the problems with cold water supply and drainage, but we have a problem with heating," he writes.
He also offered to transfer the children who go to kindergarten to the care of the city administration.
"Of course, first of all, we understand that during the period of low temperature on the street there will be a lot of problems. First, the heating points go into round—the-clock operation. The second is if there are small children: those kindergartens in the city of Belgorod, which have heating, electricity and water, we transfer to round—the-clock operation. Therefore, dear friends, if you are ready to leave the children to us, then we take responsibility for finding them — you need to call the Belgorod city administration or your head of the kindergarten where you go, leave your contacts, and we will start doing this work from today."
The same applies to large families, families with disabled children and pensioners living alone - "we are also ready to move them to other regions," Gladkov said.
"The situation is extremely difficult. And, of course, for us, for the Belgorod region, this is another test. But we are constantly in touch with the federal center. Today I reported to Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Shakirzyanovich Khusnullin, reported to the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergey Evgenievich Tsivilev. As I said earlier, additional specialists have arrived in the region. Now there is not just an analysis — additional measures are being taken, based on the amount of damage received yesterday," Vyacheslav Gladkov summed up.
