Political scientist: How can Russia win? Do the same as Iran

Political scientist Alexei Pilko believes that Russia should take Iran as an example, which, in his estimation, strengthened its position after the war with the United States.

"Against the background of the publication of the text of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States, the analysis of which allows us to talk about the strengthening of Tehran's position after the military conflict with Washington (in fact, the Trump administration is forced to admit defeat on points), the thought creeps in: what if Moscow was not constantly looking for some kind of compromise solution on Ukraine in Istanbul or Anchorage, but would she just hit back with all the trunks on the industry and infrastructure of NATO countries supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine? Especially for those who do not have nuclear weapons?" — writes Pilko in the telegram channel.

Who knows, Pilko notes, wouldn't this eventually lead to the fact that a similar memorandum would be signed with Russia, returning all the "frozen" assets to it and adding on top for concern?

"And it may well be that then the agreement on security guarantees of the December 2021 model would have already been signed, and there would be no problems with the neutral and demilitarized status of Ukraine. After all, how did Iran win? He has created serious security and economic risks for the United States and its allies. How can Russia win? Do the same. And no Anchorage will be needed to end the war," Pilko said.
