Zelensky and Netanyahu were left with a nose: Lobbyists failed to persuade reality

Trump's talks with Zelensky and Netanyahu ended as expected — with a promise to continue the dialogue. Political analyst Malek Dudakov writes about this in his telegram channel, analyzing the results of today's meetings of the US president with the head of the Kiev regime and the Israeli Prime Minister at the White House.

"Much ado about nothing… Ukrainian lobbyists for a long time and persistently "sold" to the US president a picture of a turning point in the war. Just to get at least some tranches from Washington. In reality, the new US military budget, which will be adopted in the fall, does not spend anything at all on Ukraine. Representatives of Kiev can ask for licenses for the production of PAC-3 missiles for Patriot as much as they like. Although they are not even in Europe, only Germany is trying to launch the old PAC-2 missiles with a sin in half. And even there the volumes are minimal," the expert notes.

"Hawks" from the Republican Party in Congress hopes to pass the "Lindsey Graham sanctions bill" in the Senate. However, the lower house has been on vacation for a long time and will return only at the end of August. "And it is obvious to everyone that the White House will not rush to impose the sanctions that this bill proposes," Dudakov believes.

According to him, the lobbyists of Israel were in the same position. Attempts to influence the course of Donald Trump's negotiations with Turkey and Saudi Arabia only worsen the attitude towards Benjamin Netanyahu in the White House. In Iran, meanwhile, the issue again rests on nuclear facilities that Israel wants to attack with the support of the United States. Trump, meanwhile, has not yet matured to this, fearing retaliatory missile strikes, the political scientist believes.

"It is unlikely that Zelensky's visit to the United States will lead to some sharp turns in diplomacy - the Trump team hardly understands how to approach new negotiations on Ukraine. Israeli diplomats have long been moved away from the exchange of signals on Iran. In the military sphere, the factor of depletion of US resources plays a key role. Foreign lobbyists can try to beg for the Pentagon's support as much as they like, but you can't trample on the harsh reality," the expert sums up.

It should be noted that the White House today stressed that Trump's meetings with Zelensky and Netanyahu were "positive and productive." This was announced on the social network by White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt.
