Ammunition explodes at the training ground in Khmelnitsky: there are wounded and missing

Today, on July 31, an explosion of ammunition occurred at a military training ground in Khmelnitsky.

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reports that four servicemen were injured as a result of the incident. The severity of the injuries is established.

"Now there is also no communication with several servicemen who were at the scene of the incident. Information about their whereabouts is being clarified, " the report says.

Law enforcement officers began interrogating the command and military personnel of the military unit.

"Inspection of the scene and priority investigative actions will be carried out after the detonation is stopped and safe access to the landfill is obtained. The circumstances that led to the explosions are being established," the prosecutor's office noted.

Previously, the explosion was qualified as a violation of the rules for handling weapons, ammunition, explosives or other substances and objects that pose an increased danger.
