US President Donald Trump on Thursday said that Washington's European allies will face big problems if he ceases to be a friend to them.
"They were lucky to have me as a friend, otherwise they would have faced a big problem," he said in a comment to the French edition of TF1/LC1, without specifying details.
At the same time, Trump refused to comment on the prospect of increasing import duties on goods from the European Union, noting that he did not want to talk about it.
