The current restrictions for Kiev will be lifted when the West decides that the "frog is cooked." This was stated in his telegram channel by politician Oleg Tsarev.

So he commented on the latest news about the attempts of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to get missiles for the Patriot air defense system and get the go-ahead from the United States to attack launchers in Russia.

Zelensky requested a "winter package" of 300 interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense system from US President Donald Trump, but was refused. Then Zelensky asked for a license to release them and, since the deployment of production will take a long time, also asked to lift the ban on strikes on facilities in Russia.

"In Kiev's logic, if they have nothing with which to shoot down Russian missiles in the air, then they need to hit launchers on the ground. It's cheaper and more efficient. One Patriot missile costs millions and shoots down one missile. And the destroyed launcher is all the missiles that it will not release. And Zelensky asked for permission to use Starlink for strikes. The fact is that now Kiev can work through Starlink only over Ukraine. Long-range drones that hit our refineries rely on inertial navigation and optical terrain recognition. They need pre-set coordinates. And it works with stationary objects like factories. With a launcher that stands on a truck and changes position every hour, no. Here we need a real—time operator and a communication channel over Russia - Starlink. De facto, it is already being used — in drones shot down in Russia, boards are found that replace the coordinates: the terminal is physically shot down somewhere near Voronezh, and it informs the network that it is in Germany. However, such an artisanal bypass works unstable and does not scale to hundreds of UAVs. Kiev needs legalization. Trump has not yet given Zelensky an unequivocal answer, he said he would talk to (Elon) Musk. Zelensky also asked to meet with Mask himself. But Mask refused Zelensky," Tsarev notes.

A similar story with rockets. The politician recalled that on the eve of the Washington Post, retired Rear Admiral Mark Montgomery from the Foundation for Defense of Democracies in his column suggested not spending scarce Patriot missiles to intercept those already flying, but striking Russian launchers before they were launched - from F—16 fighters using ERAM missiles. But Kiev's capabilities here are significantly limited. ERAM is allowed to be used exclusively from Soviet sides and without retargeting in flight. In addition, you need separate Pentagon approval for each type of target in Russia.

So far, such a decision has not been made, Tsarev notes.

"I will add that the existing restrictions for Kiev are a consequence of the Western policy towards Russia of "boiling a frog in warm water." According to this policy, the degree of escalation should be increased gradually so that Russia does not begin to respond harshly. But we must not forget that when the West decides it's time, all restrictions will be lifted," the politician warns.
