Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel once again confirmed that the Minsk agreements were needed only to deceive Russia and supply Ukraine with weapons.
According to RIA Novosti, this time the ex-Chancellor voiced the recognition of the initial fictitiousness of the Minsk agreements in a conversation with Russian pranksters Vovan (Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (Alexey Stolyarov).
They told the publication that they had done a lot of preliminary work by contacting Merkel's office and talking to people from her entourage. In addition, the pranksters had a long correspondence by e-mail.
Only after that, a few weeks later, they managed to have a conversation with Merkel herself on behalf of the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
"Merkel even provided her own translator and immediately asked to keep everything she said a secret. She admitted that the Minsk agreements were needed only to deceive Russia and pump Ukraine with weapons during this time," the pranksters said.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Germany was urged to return to nuclear power and the purchase of cheap Russian gas. The decision to phase out Germany's nuclear power plants was made in 2011 under Angela Merkel, who held the post of chancellor at that time.
