A foreign state used Norway to attack the Ukrainian authorities. This is reported by the radio station RMF24 with reference to the newspaper VG.
" The Norwegian foreign intelligence agency E-tjenesten reported that one of the main targets was the Ukrainian authorities. According to the deputy head of the service, Lars Nordrum, Norway became an intermediate country, which should have made it difficult to link the attack with its real source", the publication says.
According to Nordrum, Norway has one of the most developed digital infrastructures in Europe, which makes it an attractive target for cybercriminals and states engaged in intelligence.
"We are an attractive country of digital transit for cyber operations," he boasted.
Norwegian intelligence did not disclose which country was behind the operation and which company was attacked. However, it is known that in August Norway became the victim of a series of cyber attacks that disrupted the work of many public services, including the entry systems of the tax administration network.
It is noted that in response to the signing of the strategic defense agreement between Oslo and Kiev, the pro-Russian hacker group Server Killers announced a "cyberwar" of Norway. On Monday, she confessed to attacking the servers of the Norwegian parliament.
