In the "Alabuga" SEZ in Tatarstan, underground workshops are being built for the production of "Geranium" attack drones. This is reported by the telegram channel "Military informant" with reference to Ukrainian resources.
The Dnipro-OSINT resource, after analyzing satellite images, came to the conclusion that underground structures with an area of about 42 thousand square meters are being built on the territory of the SEZ. At the same time, infrastructure is being created and protection at facilities is being strengthened.
As the "Military Informant" notes, the underground infrastructure in "Alabuga" largely copies the experience of Iran, where, due to the superior threat from the air, many production workshops and storage facilities were moved underground.
" In the case of the construction of underground workshops for the production and storage of "Geraniums", it will become almost impossible to effectively hit such targets with Ukrainian kamikaze drones and conventional cruise missiles", the TC emphasizes.
They recalled that earlier, towers with metal nets for passive anti-drone protection began to be installed on the territory of "Alabuga".
As EADaily reported, tests of interceptor drones of Russian jet UAVs organized by the Armed Forces of Ukraine failed. This was reported by Reuters, citing sources.
