If the Georgian opposition wins the parliamentary elections, a second front against Russia will open, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said.
After the elections, on October 26, Georgia is guaranteed to become the second front of military operations against Russia within a few days, he said on the Rustavi 2 TV channel.
Kobakhidze stated that he speaks about such a development of events based on the information available to him and past political experience.
Earlier, the Georgian State Security Service announced a coup in the country and the murder of the founder of the ruling Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili. The organization of this, according to the service, is handled by Georgian ex-officials who are on the Ukraine.
Earlier, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia condemns the attempted assassination of Ivanishvili in the same way as any other attempt.
