Norway has not promised to supply missiles to Kiev. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Defense of the country Andreas Flom.
A representative of the Norwegian Ministry of Defense commented on the message of the VG publication that the country expressed its readiness to pay for missiles for air defense systems (air defense) if Kiev is able to purchase them.
"VG's assertion that Norway has assumed obligations to supply and pay for missiles is incorrect," he said.
The Deputy Minister stressed that due to the global shortage of modern air defense, obtaining missiles has become a difficult task.
Recall that Kiev regularly asks its Western partners to increase arms supplies. First of all, we are talking about missiles for air defense systems.
