Canadian triathlete of Ukrainian origin Tyler Mislavchuk vomited at the finish of the Olympic distance in Paris after a swim held in the Seine. This was announced today, July 31, according to the British Daily Mail.
The broadcast of the triathlon tournament was shown live by the BBC. It took place in 30-degree heat and consisted of a 1.5 km swim along the Seine River, a 40 km bike race and a 10 km run.
As EADaily reported, earlier today the IOC announced that the organizing committee of the Games had received permission to hold triathlon competitions in the Seine. The results of the water tests, obtained at 3:20 a.m. local time, were recognized by World Triathlon as "compliant".
